I LOVE music, in general, but I especially LOVE rock/alternative music.  I am a huge fan of SafetySuit (of course!), My Chemical Romance, All-American Rejects, The Academy Is, The Killers, Blink-182, Coldplay, Greenday . . . You name it, I love it!  I also love the Flobots, Janis Joplin, Queen, the Beatles, Styx, 80's rock . . . the list goes on.

 I love comedies and martial arts movies:)  I am particularly interested in anime.  I also enjoy documentaries, nature films, independent films, and dramas on occasion.

I enjoy books on Asia, Buddhism, and ecology.  I also read manga from time to time.  My goal is to read Barack Obama's newest book by the end of August.  We'll see about that (I am currently working on my dissertation).

People of Interest:
 I like to hang out with down-to-earth intellectuals who have a great sense of humor.  As far as heroes, I respect anyone who is trying to make a difference in the world.

Places of Interest:
I have been to Spain and Costa Rica, and I have traveled to several U.S. states.  I still want to visit Hawaii, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, and Italy, though.

Things of Interest:
I enjoy taking nature walks and spending time with my boyfriend.  I love chilling at home on rainy nights with my cats, all of us curled up on the couch.  I love being with my family.  I love to laugh.  I appreciate art and literature.  I enjoy playing video games!
